From £45,380 per annum to £48,833 per annum

We are looking to recruit a Course Director in GCSE English to provide professional leadership and management for GCSE English ensuring the department delivers high quality teaching to continually raise standards of learning and outcomes for all learners.
As the Course Director in GCSE English you will manage and oversee the GCSE English courses, lead and co-ordinate the course team to ensure excellence of service to the learner and associate curriculum you will inspire staff to be innovative in all aspects of teaching and learning.
To be successful in this post, you will have:
• A teaching qualification
• Degree or equivalent which is vocationally relevant
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Teaching/training experience as well as assessment and verification experience
As an experienced teacher, you will be flexible and ideally be familiar with the current issues and challenges within FE. You would be joining a supportive team which has a strong focus on improving standards and achieving success.
